You’ll learn safety fundamentals, how to handle tools and materials correctly, and get hands-on practice with some of the most common machines in the shop. By the end, you’ll not only know your way around the space but also complete a simple project to take home, giving you a solid foundation to build on as you continue learning.
Intro to Woodworking Workshop (4–5 hours)
If you’ve dabbled in woodworking but want to take your skills further, this class bridges the gap between hobby and professional technique. Over a half-day session, you’ll learn best practices for measuring, cutting, and joining wood while gaining hands-on experience with both hand tools and select shop machinery. We’ll cover the “why” behind each process so you can understand not just how to build, but how to build better. Guided by a professional fabricator, you’ll complete a small project to take home and leave with practical knowledge you can apply to future builds.
